La Jolla Music Society presented its SummerFest Gala, “A Midsummer Night,” on Aug. 10, 2013 at the home of Hanna and Mark Gleiberman. Chaired by Peggy Preuss, the evening featured a cocktail reception and dinner with an intimate chamber music performance by SummerFest artists Philippe Quint, Michelle Kim, Eric Wong, Felix Umansky, Steven Lin and SummerFest Music Director Cho-liang Lin. Proceeds will benefit the music society’s education, outreach and artistic programs. For information and schedules for SummerFest performances, visit ljms.org
