The weather helped to make the 27th annual La Jolla Festival of the Arts a roaring success June 20-21, 2013 as crowds from around Southern California came to the grounds of UC San Diego to purchase art and enjoy gourmet food and great music during the event, sponsored by the Torrey Pines Kiwanis Club. To date, the event has raised nearly $2 million for people with disabilities — focusing on adaptive and recreational sports programs. For information at lajollaartfestival.org
