La Jolla High School Interact club to hold car wash & bake sale

On Saturday, May 25th, La Jolla High School Interact, a community service club, will hold its annual car wash and bake sale at the La Jolla Methodist Church, 6063 La Jolla Blvd. Funds raised at the event will be used for the club’s Tijuana home-building project. Over the past five years, Interact has constructed seventeen homes for impoverished Tijuana families. The eighteenth home will be built by Interact on June 22. The car wash and bake sale event starts at 9:30 a.m. and ends at 1:30 p.m. A minimum $5 donation is requested.
