Artist's concept rendering of proposed I-5/Gilman Drive bridge: UC San Diego in collaboration with the California Department of Transportation (CALTRANS) proposes to construct a new bridge crossing over Interstate 5,  north of La Jolla Village Drive bridge and south of Voigt Drive bridge and would tie into existing campus roads on both sides of the freeway.
