“Guests will hear Gershwin and Chopin, Cole Porter and Rachmaninoff, Sondheim and Satie, Rodgers and Tchaikovsky, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Chopin, Fritz Loewe and Brahms — all provocative pairings and a delight to the ear!” Silver said, adding her presentation will also include a few “backstage” stories of her work with some of the most splendid Broadway composers and performers.

Silver has performed at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and other major music centers throughout the United States. She has collaborated with such luminaries as Leonard Bernstein, Marilyn Horne, Tony Randall and Luciano Pavarotti, to name a few.

Series tickets are $48 for members or $68 for nonmembers. Individual “concerts” are $14 for members, $19 for nonmembers at (858) 454-5872 or ljathenaeum.org
