The Old Globe postpones The Honeymooners, seeks replacement show for the fall

The Old Globe  announced March 7 that its upcoming production of ”The Honeymooners” has been postponed due to a conflict with artist schedules.

The world premiere musical by Dusty Kay and Bill Nuss (book), Stephen Weiner (music) and Peter Mills (lyrics)was originally set to run at the Globe from Sept. 8–Oct. 27, 2013 under the direction of Jerry Mitchell.  “

We are disappointed that we will not produce “The Honeymooners” this season, but we hope that San Diego audiences will be able to enjoy this delightful musical in the future,” said Artistic Director Barry Edelstein.  “We are hard at work seeking anexciting replacement for the show that we will announce shortly with the restof our wonderful 2013-14 season.”
