In preparation for “Water to Wine 2013,” its next fund-raising gala, Episcopal Community Services of San Diego board members and guests attended a wine donation party at the La Jolla home of Drex and Susan Patterson on Jan. 11, 2013. The gala, set for 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14 at Estancia La Jolla Hotel and Spa, will honor philanthropist Marie Tuthill and raise money for the many ECS programs, which include funding Head Start classrooms, rehabilitating DUI offenders, providing Safe Havens for the mentally ill and homeless, and working with young victims of child abuse.
