To raise funds in support of its medical research projects, the Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute hosted a gala Nov. 17, 2012 at Estancia La Jolla Hotel and Spa in La Jolla. The party’s theme came from the much-loved musical, “The Music Man,” and this year’s chairs were Conrad Prebys and Debra Turner, Jeffrey and Sheila Lipinsky, and Blair Blum and Jeff Sexton.
