Congregation Beth Israel, located at 9001 Towne Centre Drive in La Jolla, celebrated the end of its 150th anniversary year with a special gala event that featured a performance by stage and screen star Mandy Patinkin on Nov. 17, 2012, at Qualcomm Hall.
