Hey Mayor Bob - If you want to get serious about something, quit pandering to the seal zealots and do something about the biohazard guano on the rocks and cliffs at the Cove. If you want to support tourism as you state, find an immediate solution that helps the business owners and people tyrying to breathe fresh air within a mile of that stench coming from the cliffs at the Cove. That will go a long way to convince those of us who didn't vote for you that you are going to make a difference as mayor.

Nice to see that our new Mayor is already punch drunk with POWER trying to inflict his personal will upon the masses.......sounds like he learned from our President quickly while in DC. The Beach is a public use and was only given to the City as long as it provided a safe access to swimmers, not lost attractions from Sea World. The Coastal Act, the bible that allows the Coastal Commission to even exist clearly states you must maintain human access to the water but our Mayor feels a cheap thrill for Tourists supercedes that legal right. What am I missing?
