La Jolla Youth Rugby registration for new sports program is underway

The sign-up deadline is Dec. 15, 2012 for youth ages 7-14, who are interested in joining the new La Jolla Youth Rugby program, under the direction of Zack Jacobs, e-mail azjacobs1@san.rr.com or call (619) 933-6701. Register at lajollarugby.com
There will also be a meet-and-greet, information session on Wednesday, Dec. 5 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Kleege Industries, 1244 Knoxville St., San Diego.
The group is affiliated with the San Diego Young Aztecs, which also supports a youth rugby program in Point Loma. Dave Bernard is president of the organization. Call (858) 945-0708 or e-mail DaveBernard@san.rr.com
The season is January and February, and is usually completed before baseball, lacrosse, soccer and other spring sports are in full swing.
The organization is run entirely by volunteers and additional sponsors for
the 501(c) 3 non-profit organization are needed. Help with coaching and team/club management is also needed.
