		<description>This is a very good article on the state of La Jolla Merchant&#039;s and how business has been going. I would argue to raise a fantastic point however. La Jolla and the people who live here should think about implementing some sort of trash pick up. That would make La Jolla and the Village in particular a more pleasant experience. Consumers appreciate clean, well-kept sidewalks. We need planters and to clean out the overgrown shrubbery. The sidewalks need to be power washed and cleaned up, just like Gas Lamp Quarter. There are many people and business owners in the Village that would agree. </description>
