Suspected drunk driver crashes into two parked cars in La Jolla Tuesday morning

A suspected drunk driver crashed his car into two parked cars in La Jolla on Tuesday morning, according to officials.

The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. at Costa Verde Drive and La Jolla Village Drive when the driver flipped his car over into two parked cars.

Nobody was inside the two parked cars, but damage to the driver’s vehicles included shattered windows and dents. The two cars struck were also damaged.

The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and he was alone during the incident.

Police said the driver is 20 years old and could lose his license since he is younger than the legal drinking age.
