Vehicle hits motor home parked on Torrey Pines in La Jolla, elderly driver taken to hospital

BREAKING NEWS/LA JOLLA LIGHT STAFF

A man in his 80′s was driving eastbound on the 2600 block of Torrey Pines
Road Thursday morning (Aug. 23)  at 10:30 a.m. when he clipped the back end of a parked
motor home.

The elderly driver’s Volvo spun around and came to rest against a
parked Prius. The injured man was the only occupant in the car and was taken
away by ambulance to Scripps Hospital where his condition is unknown.
