Chargers ink deal with quarterback Kyle Boller

The San Diego Chargers agreed to a one-year contract with quarterback Kyle Boller on Friday.

Kyle Boller started his NFL career with the Baltimore Ravens

Boller is entering his ninth NFL season after beginning his career as a first-round draft choice of the Baltimore Ravens in 2003. He played for the Ravens from 2003-08 where he started 42 of 55 games played. He moved on to the St. Louis Rams (2009) and Oakland Raiders (2010-11). Boller has completed 861 of 1,519 passes (56.7%) during his eight accrued seasons for 8,931 yards with 48 touchdowns and 54 interceptions.

Boller was the 19th overall selection in the ’03 NFL Draft after serving as the starting quarterback for three and a half seasons at California. He is a native of Burbank and attended Hart High School in Newhall, Calif.
