"So others may eat" is a mess. Tresha Souza is a mess. And that entire operation behind CVS was a mess. We are already inundated with our share of homeless in this neighborhood and Tresha Souza attempting to push her agenda onto our neighborhood under the guise of religion would have been a joke, if it didn't compound our existing problem ten-fold. All of the neighbors in this block have been working diligently with San Diego PD for years, to get these homeless issues under control, and then this woman wants to come down here and exploit the area just to line her own pocket. She was never down here when that operation was underway, and she had no idea what her customers and her staff were up to until i notified her. Even when she knew, her response was to ignore. They left trash and shopping carts on everybody else's property, were foul-mouthed, panhandling, drinking and urinating on dumpsters, and conducting their business activity in the middle of the right-of-way. I am convinced that closing that operation probably saved somebody from a serious vehicle/pedestrian injury. Tresha Souza would not have allowed that activity in her neighborhood and I wasn't about to allow it in mine. Code enforcement did the right thing and the rest of the neighborhood is grateful to the City Attorney's office for getting this one right. Why doesn't Tresha Souza open a recycling business in her neighborhood? No doubt her neighbors in the Muirlands would be cool with it.

Yeah I use to say the same thing when I was a Boy Scout when I realized the girls just changed the "Boy" to "Girl" seems like the whole world could come unglued from to non-profits having similar names with similar goals!

So Others Might Eat (S.O.M.E.) was founded in D.C. over 40 years ago. Interesting how Souza only changed Might to May. Hmm. Seems confusingly similar.
