<description>This is amazing and unconventional research! Thank you so much for all that you are doing. I had sudden rapid onset at age 4 - was admitted to the hospital 2 days after my first dental filling. I will tell you that there are things I have learned in my 32 years with this disease.. ingestion of certain proteins triggers a further inflammatory cascade (dairy, wheat, chemicals) It seems to me to be part hypersensitivity.. and part microbial. It seems that very stressful events can trigger it - so was there all along but the immune response changed due to stress? Maybe a combination of a persistent food allergy or leaky gut combined with stress and a triggering substance (vaccine? or mercury?) is enough for the body to lay down cytokines in the pancreas? Why do mostly young people get it...has everyone else outgrown it? It seems that only older folks who were in the hospital for surgery or had some trauma get type I. Why did urine therapy work 100 years ago to lower insulin in many juvenile diabetics...it modulated their autoimmunity. I don&#039;t test positive for anti Gad or anti islet antibodies.... the typical markers of type I... How many types of Type 1&#039;s are there really? Those who got it virally? Those who have a systemic microbial infection? those who are highly hypersensitive due to toxicity or environmental exposure? These are the questions that need to be answered... you guys are almost there! Thank you again,
