However, the writer should have taken a more Journalistic approach and done some research on the subject. This process and program ( MLPA ) is deeply flawed. The science is dubious at best. The process was carried out incorrectly and in direct opposition to its own rules. There is much more to this subject. Not to mention, why punish generations of kids by not allowing them to fish? It's a tragedy. Especially considering that the Sport Fishermen are not the issue, but as usual, being penalized. Politics at work, big money at work, and loud minority “environmentalism” at work. Seals try to steal our hooked fish as they are not fast enough to catch on their own. We do not need more closures we need fewer seals polluting our ocean and gorging one local baitfish.
