Bird Rock Elementary turns out to reenact photo

This year marks the 60th anniversary of Bird Rock Elementary School and a host of activities are planned to recall years past.

One of the first occurred on Nov. 2 when photographer Pearl Preis took a photo of all of the students and faculty at the same place where the original school photo was taken in 1951 when the school was still under construction.
