Birch Aquarium hosts 200 children from San Diego and Tijuana

Birch Aquarium hosted more than 200 children from San Diego and Tijuana on Oct. 28 for World Water Monitoring Day, an international outreach program sponsored by Coastkeeper and Sister Schools of San Diego. The event is aimed at building awareness about protecting water resources around the world through interactive activities.

Students participating in the program will share their data with students in more than seven countries. San Diego schools participating included Riverview Elementary, Perkins Elementary, San Diego High School and Crawford High Education Complex.
