“We call it the prairie schooner,” said bookstore owner Dennis Wills, noting the wagon wheel is from a Mormon wagon that made the trip from Illinois to Utah that he purchased from an antique dealer.
The dugout, Wills said, was given to him 20 years ago by a client in exchange for $100 worth of books. Wills’ bookstore, which has been in the Village since 1991, periodically hosts author appearances. The bookstore is open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays.
