Comedians promise a groovy show Thursday night in La Jolla

The La Jolla Comedy Store will host Piper & Tupper’s Far Out Comedy Show, 8 p.m. Thursday, July 14. Doors open at 7 p.m. at 916 Pearl St.

Be there ... or be square.

According to promotional material advancing the show, “The team’s unique brand of comedy is a blend of Flight of the Conchords, Spinal Tap, Steve Martin, The Marx Brothers and Martin and Lewis. The raw comedic energy and humorous musical bits they produce onstage engulf their audiences like a whirling tornado.”

There is a $5 cover charge to see the Huntington Beach-based Neal Tupper and Jules Piper. To RSVP, call (858) 454-9176. Peace out!
