Crash snarls traffic in La Jolla

A collision on Torrey Pines Road at Herschel Avenue sometime before 11 a.m. Friday had drivers seeking multiple routes around the snarled traffic.

No details on the crash were available but it appeared no one was hurt as no fire-rescue units were dispatched to the scene.

Traffic was flowing smoothly again by about 11:30 a.m.
