Open house set for Saturday at Sulpizio Cardiovascular Care Center in La Jolla

The public is invited to take a look at the Sulpizio Cardiovascular Care Center, the region’s only comprehensive cardiovascular facility, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The four-story center is part of the UCSD Health System and is located at 9434 Medical Center Drive, next door to Thornton Hospital.

During the open house, there will be tours of the $ 228 million facility as well as opportunities to participate in CPR training, health information and screening sessions, fitness demonstrations and activities for children. There will also be snacks and giveaways.
