Scripps Hospital will host pet therapy workshop
Meet some of the volunteer pet therapy dogs at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla and learn about the healing effects pets have on humans from a panel of certified pet therapy professionals from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 2 in the Volunteer Services Workroom at Scripps.
The program is open to the public and beneficial for anyone interested in certifying a dog for the Scripps Pet Therapy program.
Pets will not be allowed at the workshop, which is an educational opportunity for humans only.
