The 5th annual home tour sponsored by Bird Rock Community Council on Saturday featured six lavishly appointed homes in divergent styles, including Cape Cod and even Balinese. All proceeds benefit Bird Rock Elementary School and will go toward classroom support in the school which has seen its student-to-teacher ratio go from 20-to-1 four years ago to 24-to-1 this academic year, and is expected to go to 29-to-1 in grades K-3rd next year.
