Jeff Detrow and Jerry Cesak, the San Diego morning radio show duo known as “Jeff and Jer,” are reportedly returning to the airwaves on KYXY-FM.

They, along with other members of their team, Laura Cain and producer “Little” Tommy Sablan, have not had a radio show since 2009 but have been putting shows online from Cesak’s garage.

Cesak posted a message on his blog today that said to return at 7:15 a.m. Wednesday for an announcement on their new radio station gig. The web page for KYXY also has a message to expect a “major announcement.”

Internet sites that cover the San Diego radio scene have speculated recently that the two were negotiating with CBS Radio, which owns the station.
