Crowds turn out for opening of La Jolla Sprinkles shop

Hundreds of people turned out for opening day at Sprinkles Cupcakes’ new store in The Shops at La Jolla Village, 8855 Villa la Jolla Drive. Since opening the world’s first cupcake bakery in Beverly Hills, Sprinkles Cupcakes has inspired long lines and people traveling long distances for the cupcakes. This is the first store in San Diego for the company that is big on social media.

The Bachelorette’s Ali Fedotowsky was on hand to serve cupcakes and earned a $25,000 donation from Sprinkles to be donated to San Diego’s Dress for Success.
