The La Jolla Newcomers gathered at Estancia Hotel and Spa on Dec. 12 to celebrate the season. Eighty-two guests joined the party that also included a Toys for Tots fundraiser. Guests brought toys, dined on a lavish buffet, and danced the night away. Melinda Underkofler chaired the event. Carol Rumsey and Carol Sabatini decorated the room. Mary McGee and Nancy Thompson handled reservations.

La Jolla Newcomers welcomes not only those new to the area, but also anyone finding him or herself in a new phase of life. For more information, visit www.lajollanewcomers.org or call (858) 496-8655.
