The La Jolla Newcomers gathered at Estancia Hotel and Spa on Dec. 12 to celebrate the season. Eighty-two guests joined the party that also included a Toys for Tots fundraiser. Guests brought toys, dined on a lavish buffet, and danced the night away. Melinda Underkofler chaired the event. Carol Rumsey and Carol Sabatini decorated the room. Mary McGee and Nancy Thompson handled reservations.
