Several holiday church concerts in La Jolla this Sunday

Here’s a list of upcoming free concerts!

• Robert Wuertz directs the Chancel Choir, soloists and strings in a Christmas program, 4 p.m. Dec. 19 at La Jolla United Methodist Church, 6063 La Jolla Blvd. Works by Mendelssohn, Rutter and Martin. Free-will offering. (858) 454-7108.

• Tim Zimmerman and The King’s Brass will present Christmas music, 4 and 7 p.m. Dec. 19 at La Jolla Presbyterian Church, 7715 Draper. The Chancel Choir under the direction of Keith Pedersen will sing “Gloria.” Reception follows 7 p.m. show. Free-will offering. (858) 729-5531.

• The Chancel Choir of Torrey Pines Christian Church, 8320 La Jolla Village Dr., will present the contemporary oratorio, “Magnificat,” 5 p.m. Dec. 19, under the direction of Nicolas Reveles. Free-will offering. (858) 453-3550.
