Kudos: Las Manos del Artesano

Las Manos del Artesano at 7940 Herschel Ave. celebrates the Christmas spirit in La Jolla by way of Mexico. Store owners Juan Carlos and Cecelia Brito say that the decorations are a wonderful way to showcase the unique gift items that they sell in the store, but also present a little bit of Mexican culture to La Jolla. In addition, Las Manos del Artesano gives away a portion of each sale to help fund the Mexican nonprofit Teleton, a private organization that promotes an integration within the culture for people with disabilities. So from a creative, clean storefront to giving back to children with disabilities, a big KUDOS to Las Manos del Artesano.
