Burglars break into Apple store at UTC

Two men wearing hoods broke the front glass doors of the Apple store in the Westfield UTC mall in La Jolla and stole merchandise today, police said.

The burglary at 4505 La Jolla Village Drive occurred about 6:15 a.m., according to San Diego police.

The burglars took 15 items from the computer store and fled eastbound through the mall, police said.
