Greyhound adoptions draw interest in La Jolla

Holiday shoppers passing by Ark Antiques on Saturday were drawn to the Operation Greyhound adoption booth featured at the event were retired racers rescued from the tracks after their racing careers were over.

Many potential adopters expressed interest in the available dogs and applications were distributed to begin the adoption process. Anyone interested in adopting a retired racing greyhound can contact Operation Greyhound at www.operationgreyhound.com
