Blackout for Chargers-Broncos game lifted

Enough tickets have been sold to lift the local television blackout and allow Southern California to see the live telecast of the Chargers-Broncos game on Monday night, Nov. 22 at Qualcomm Stadium. Kickoff is 5:40 p.m.

Mike Tirico, Ron Jaworski and Jon Gruden will call the game for ESPN while MicheleTafoya and Suzy Kolber report from the sidelines. The game will be televised nationally by ESPN and also locally in San Diego on KFMB-TV (CBS, Channel 8).

A limited number of Club Level tickets and tickets returned by the visiting team are still available at the Chargers’ ticket office at Gate C at Qualcomm Stadium, at and through TicketMaster at 800-745-3000. The ticket office is open Saturday 10-4 pm.

Fans attending the game are urged to use mass transit or carpool, and arrive early. To avoid heavy traffic around the stadium on Interstates 8 and 15, fans also can reach the stadium via the Friars Rd. East exit off of Highway 163.

Fans also have the opportunity to help struggling local families this holiday season by bringing non-perishable food to the game in support of the Chargers’ annual Food Drive benefitting the San Diego Food Bank.

Tickets available for the Chargers’ three remaining regular season home games: 4,000 tickets for Oakland (Dec 5); 10,000 for Kansas City (Dec. 12), and 8,000 for San Francisco (Dec. 16). Approximately 1,500 Club tickets are included in each number.
