Torreys capture tennis title

La Jolla Country Day won the 2010 Coastal Conference tennis championship Wednesday with a 14-4 victory over Bishop’s.

It marked the second straight season the Torreys have won the conference while not losing a match.

Leading the way for Country Day was Lindsay Kostas, who swept her singles matches. Also for the Torreys, doubles teams of Katie and Megan Woods and Lindsey Jacobs and Lauren Ross were also perfect against Bishop’s.
