Bird Rock fifth graders get reporting tips from La Jolla Light editor
La Jolla Light editor Kathy Day visited Bird Rock Elementary School last week to talk about journalism and writing with students in Ginny LaRowe’s and and Melissa King’s classes. The students are working on feature writing assignments and the Light plans to publish some of them.
