If it’s Thursday, it’s Girlz Night Out for La Jolla gals

The Nine-Ten Lounge at The Grande Colonial Hotel hosted the Girlz Night Out (GNO) gathering on Oct. 11, a Thursday get-together arranged by Lia Johnson at various happy hours each week. The La Jolla women said they meet to share friendship, and sample and support area restaurants, while their husbands play racquetball or enjoy some quiet time. Johnson brings a cake for birthdays.
The next GNO is happening at the La Jolla Town Council’s SunSetter from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 21 at Hennessey’s, 7811 Herschel at Silverado. Newcomers are welcome.
