Carlos Gutierrez, of Prudential California Realty’s La Jolla office, invites the public to attend Aztec for Life, a homecoming celebration to benefit the Marshall Faulk Foundation. The event, which will be held at 7 p.m. on Oct. 15 in San Diego State University’s alumni building, will feature a silent and live auction, gourmet food from 10 local restaurants, an open bar and live music until midnight.

Proceeds from Aztec for Life will fund the various programs and initiatives sponsored by the Marshall Faulk Foundation, a nonprofit that was established to enrich the lives of underprivileged youth by helping them to build character and a stronger self-image through education and sports. Faulk is best known for his career as a running back for SDSU and later, for the St. Louis Rams, where he won the Super Bowl and the coveted Most Valuable Player award.

Gutierrez, who is chairing the event, is widely respected for his commitment to ethical business practices, as well as the work he performs for the Challenged Athletes Foundation and various other charities. A veteran agent with an extensive background in marketing and public relations, he has earned a reputation for delivering optimal results for his clients.
