Hip-hop dancer/teacher Chris Estrella of CStar Productionz is on a quest to get in the New Guinness Book of World Records for having the most people worldwide dance to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” at the same time.

He joins forces with “Thrill the World,” an organization that has set the record for the last four years.

Last year, San Diego’s record was 229 people. Estrella plans to TRIPLE that amount this year, seeing it as a way of bringing people together from all different ages, economic backgrounds and walks of life to dance and have a good time together.

The Scream Zone at the Del Mar Fairgrounds will host the event on Oct 23. Call time is 2 p.m. for zombies; the performance is at 4 p.m.

Scream Zone manager Kenny Baker said, ”It should be a lot of fun for people and fits right into our haunted house theme.” More details at www.cstarproductionz.com.
