Kudos for polishing the Jewel: Monarch Group

Photo: Phyllis Pfeiffer

Mixed-use properties have been developing throughout The Village and the Monarch Group headquarters, tucked between two private town homes at 7727 Herschel, is an example of office-residential space at its best. The interesting ceramic statues in the street level window add a touch of whimsy and color to the modern facade. Kudos to founding partners Rod Stone, Pat Kruer, Tim Kruer and Ryan Stone for creating an elegant building design and enhancing it with artwork visible to the community.

This weekly column gives kudos to the businesses, property owners and institutions that do their part to help make La Jolla beautiful. Send your suggestions to: kudos@lajollalight.com.
