“It’s got all the old favorites — burritos, tacos, etc. — but we’ve added a few things, made the portions larger and reduced a lot of the prices,” said restaurant co-owner Bill McHugh. “People aren’t spending money like they used to, so we’re giving them incentive to come back.”

McHugh said Jose’s has also added specials on weeknights.

Monday night’s special is buy one entrée with two drinks, get a second entrée free. Tuesday has lobster tacos, seared ahi and fish tacos for $2, with other tacos costing only $1.50. Wednesday features happy hour prices from 4 p.m. until close.

Jose’s offers all the premiere sport packages including NFL Sunday Ticket, MLB Extra Innings, NCAA Mega March Madness and even Setanta Sports “football” fans.
On the weekends Jose’s livens things up with music videos.

McHugh likes to boast about the patio dining out front.

“It’s an awesome spot with a great view of the Cove to sit and have dinner at sunset,” he said.

Jose’s offers happy hour drink specials from 4 to 7 p.m.

The restaurant has also done fun special promotions like hosting a flauta-eating contest the past three years.

Jose’s is open 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.

For more information visit or call the restaurant at (858) 454-7655.
