Two men rob ATM near UTC

By City News Service

Two men pried open the door of an ATM near the University Town Center mall and stole the money inside Saturday, according to police.

Just after 11:40 a.m., the men forced open the door of the cash machine on 9171 Town Center Dr., said Officer Frank Cali of the San Diego Police Department.

“They reached their hands in and grabbed whatever money they could get,” he said.

The men then walked toward La Jolla Village Drive.

The suspects were described as white, between 35 and 40 years old and were wearing green or beige shirts and green baseball hats.
