Entry deadline extended for La Jolla youth surf contest

The application deadline for the WindanSea Menehune and Junior Surf Contest has been extended to Sept. 24.
The event, with divisions for boys and girls of all ages up to 16, will be held Oct. 2 at La Jolla Shores.
