First ever BirdStock brings community together

About 300 Bird Rock residents celebrated the first BirdStock community picnic and concert on Saturday. From food to art activities that included making glass tiles that will be hung at the Waverly avenue entrance the park above Bird Rock Elementary School to a peace sign made of flowers and shells, the event was fun-filled. It was designed with a fundraising component to support the school, replacing the Taste of Bird Rock event that was suspended this year.
