SummerFest opens with 'String Spectacular'

SummerFest opened its 2010 season with a free concert in Scripps Park at La Jolla Cove on Aug. 4 and its first full performance, ‘String Spectacular,’ on Aug. 6 at the Sherwood Auditorium at MCASD. The festival continues this week with a full lineup of performances, open rehearsals, encounters and workshops. To see what’s on tap, check our SummerFest calendar.
