A joyous crowd for Silver Tea

Sharon and Joel Labovitz’s stunning La Jolla home was the site of this year’s Silver Tea, an annual holiday event that raises money for St. Germaine Children’s Charity. This year’s party, the 23rd annual Silver Tea, featured dainty finger sandwiches and sweetmeats, as well as boutiques for purchasing holiday gifts by local artisans.
Since St. Germaine started its annual fund-raising tea in 1984, programs preventing child abuse have been enriched by more than $2 million.
Among the generous La Jolla ladies involved in this year’s tea were Karen Miller, Maurine Beinbrink, Mary Johnson, Dolores Smith, Sook Hansen, Marie Chemali, Cindy Goodman, Cynthia Kronemyer, Joyce Furby, Bonnie Hage, Charlotte Jacobs, Mary Walker, Dian Peet, Olivia Rotert, Martha Houshar, Lori Wright and Rita Crouch.
